Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.43 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. VOT / XX / R Q in three lines within wreath. RIC 211 var. (unlisted officina). Extremely rare. Somewhat smoothed and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, good fine.

This exceedingly rare coin is one of just two examples identified from officina Q, both housed in the Ramskold Collection. According to RIC, only three examples of the 'VOT / XX' type were initially listed, but currently, 20 examples are known. Thirteen are held privately, with nine of those belonging to the Ramskold Collection.
